My hiking and backpacking interests, combined with a fascination for birds and plants, eventually led me to study tracking. I have attained a Level III in Track and Sign through Cyber Tracker Conservation's Evaluation Process at numerous Evaluations from coast to desert in both Southern California and Washington State, and am continuing to learn and grow in appreciation of the wonders of the natural world around us.

I am a licensed Captain, and own and operate an ocean going 40' sailboat that my wife and I built from "scratch" and lived aboard for 10 years. We have spent the last decade residing in North San Diego County, where we own and operate a small farm and avocado grove in addition to pursuing my interests in studying the flora and fauna of Southern California.
We look forward to having you join us as we experience the beauty of our natural surroundings and share with you our unique knowledge and training.
