Western Tracking Institute Presents:

San Diego County
Plant Communities
Workshop Series

February 20, March 13, April 17, May 1,
and May 22: Saturdays 8 am – 12 pm

Gain a solid working knowledge of plants and associated wildlife
through this specialized five-session workshop. Upon completion
of this series, your tracking capabilities will be significantly
enhanced when looking onto a San Diego County landscape.

Course Description: One of the most bio-diverse
regions in the world, San Diego is home to 1,000's of native
plants. In this class we will survey five different and unique
bio-zones and take a close look at the plant groups that live
there. Students will become familiar with the most often
seen plants as well as some of the rarest and most obscure
plants in our area. The five Saturday sessions will each be
held in a different San Diego County location through the
spring to take advantage of the various bloom times.
